Russia once again had an internal selection. This year a very famous and popular duet was chosen. A group called t.AT.u.. The song which will be sung in Russian is called Ne Ver, Ne Bojsia, Ne Prosi.
t.A.T.u are not only famous in Russia and its neighbouring countries but also they are a European Top Group and have also reached Number 1 in the MTV Europe Top 20 Charts and are currently placed 6th.
This will be the first time since 1997 that Russia will be singing in Russian during the Eurovision Song Contest.
