join the legacy
Wish to form your own part of the Murdon Legacy? Good. Mem loves people who appreciate her ideas. There are a few rules and regulations you need to follow, first.
- Remember that this is your agency. Mem is not going to run it for you, nor is she going to draw your critters or come up with the ideas for it. She'll quite happily help you, of course, but Mem runs a great many of her own agencies, and she can't be running other peoples' as well.
- The Murdon Legacy is copyright
to Memoru. In order to become part of it, you're going to have to credit her. A link to Pandemodex (http://www.geocities.com/pandemodex) or her e-mail ([email protected]), will do fine.
- You must have a webpage set up and completed. This site must include several things.
- A link to the forum (http://euclidestheatre.proboards67.com/index.cgi) and/or the Legacy homepage (here).
- The same basic rules used for all Legacy sites (see the Euclides Theatre for an example)
- Information, including abstract, physical description, diet, naming rules, and society. You may include other things if you wish.
- The same set of naming rules used for all Legacy sites (unless you've got a good reason for changing them.)
- Ranks, usually six, but more or less are fine. Please include one 'lead' or 'alpha' rank.
- Breeds. Between 5 and 7 basic ones, as well as artifacts and patchworks. Artifacts and Patchworks must be rare. Breeds must also be animals that occur naturally on earth, and should be listed with latin names, not english ones. (If you need help with that, contact Mem). If you want to use say...all felines or all canines, that's fine ^^; Just make sure you've got between 5-7 different types (wolf, coyote, fox, dingo, jackal, dog, etc.)
- Types, between 30 and 90, and always in multiples of three. Must be evenly distributed between "Common", "Uncommon", and "Rare" categories. Types should be original, but you may use up to five already used types, so long as you change the information.
- The same general breeding rules/information as all Legacy sites.
- History, which fits under the Murdon theme. Must include "A continuation of the Euclides history" and a link to the Euclides history (http://www.geocities.com/euclidestheatre/jan/history)
- Neat, organized, records. Please remember to update them!
- An organization, or "pack" of some sort. May not use "Pack", "Pride", "Herd", or any already used classification.
- You must be ready and willing to keep up with your agency. Don't make it and be active one month, then abandon it the next. Be devoted to your adoption!
- Every Agency included in the Legacy must have some sort of theme. This can be anything from Weather to Cowboys. You may not use a theme that's already been made into an agency. If you're having trouble coming up with an appropriate theme, check out Mem's theme list.
- You may sell/give out your critters anywhere or anyhow you like, except as click-and-takes. There should be no two Legacy Critters that look exactly the same.
- The stat set-up for Legacy critters must always be the following:
Name:
ID:
Gender:
Sub-Species:
Rank:
Breed:
Type:
Mutations:
Accessories:
Notes: (if any)
If you need to add something else to it (eg. Defore have 'Variations') feel free to do so ^^ Just put it in an appropriate place.
- No two Legacy critters may have the same name. That is, species, name, not the name of an individual. You can't use Euclides, Defore, Amuni, or any other race-name already in use. On the same topic, you must have a different ID code for each species, and no two may be the same (Eg. EU001, DE001, AM001, etc.)
- Before your Agency become official, you must send it to Mem to approve. She may not approve all agencies, so keep this in mind whilst you're creating. If she rejects it, she has a reason, and she'll be sure to tell you so you can fix it and re-apply.
Please read, remember, and follow all the above rules and regulations while sending in an agency. Once you're ready and wish to join the legacy, e-mail Mem with the link to your site.
