The Court of Justice

It makes sure that EU law is interpreted and applied in the same way in all the EU countries. It also makes sure that the EU member states and institutions do what the law requires them to do.

The Court of Auditors

It checks that the EU’s funds, which come from the taxpayers, are spent legally, economically and for the intended purpose.

 

 The European Economic and Social Committee

It is an advisory body which must give its opinion on proposed EU decisions about employment, social spending, vocational training, etc.
