Next, connect the rectified filament DC part to the tube socket using the supplied section of shielded cable (see below), make sure you ground the shield end onto the lower eye of terminal 28 (or the terminal support bracket): |

(Refer to page 27, 28) For convenience sake, I decided to finish off the DC filament heating wiring before I proceed on to the rest of the work. I put on those Z5U caps and also ground the 2nd shielded heater cable's ground wire to terminal support #38's lower eye : |

Again, as you can see in the picture: one Z5U from the lower terminal support eye to tube socket pin #4, another Z5U from the lower terminal support eye to tube socket pin #5, and then the last one goes to tube socket #4 and #5. |
