Prologue

Suburban New York is very peaceful at midnight. There isn't a single soul present on the street, nor is there a sound. The streets are enveloped with the dark of night. No light is shone but that of the stars above. But, in the distance there stands a figure. A figure shown under the light of the moon. It stands there as if it's waiting for something. The figure stood wearing a long black overcoat, he was dressed as if he was a lawyer.

On the opposite side of the street, there stood a young woman. She had long dark hair, her brown eyes glittered in the moonlight, she was beautiful. She wore a white shirt under a small leather jacket, and a skirt that reached just above her knee, and black leather boots. Her breasts were bulging through her shirt. Her neck was laced with silver jewelry as were her wrists. She wore cross earings also made of silver. She also wore a silver cross hanging right in between her breasts.

The figure just stood there in the shadows waiting, watching the girl. As she walked on, she noticed him lurking in the shadows. She was startled at first, but kept on walking. She knew it was following her, so she started on a faster pace. She slowed down a bit, and turned her head. She saw him following her. She was terrified. She began to run. But no matter how hard she tried to push herself to run faster, he still kept up as he walked.

She tried to scream, yet there was no sound that came out of her mouth. She tried desperately to call for help. The man drew closer, and closer. To her dismay, she tripped and sprained her ankle. Helplessly she sat on the ground grasping her ankle. She cried tears of desperation. The man stood in front of her, put his hand on her shoulder and picked her up as if she weighed nothing at all.

She struggled with all her strength, but it was useless, he was too strong to fight. He drew her in closer to him. He smiles to reveal a set of fangs. She was horrified. He tilted her head, and pierced her neck with his teeth. Her faced was filled with terror, yet the fangs did not inflict pain, she felt ecstasy. She did not want him to stop. The vampire kept drinkning. She began to feel dizzy, and everything she saw became hazy. Then, all she saw was darkness.
