Luckily for me, Kathryn had not developed her negotiating stamina.  And, as with many deals, I wore my opponent down. Katie eventually settled for less, but the terms are under a non-disclosure agreement.  Both parties are barred from discussing the agreement.  She immediately needed some rest.

I can tell you that the agreement included specific terminology defining the conditions of her room.  One of my co-workers had indicated to me that baby girls are entitled to the color pink.  Katie agrees. I have included two pictures of her in her crib. 

Kathryn wanted to practice her princess wave.  I didn't have the heart to tell her, but I think it needs a bit of work.
Sidenote: 
When I first put together this crib, I thought that a child could grow out of this thing in no time.  It's amazing what perspective one can gain once an actual newborn is placed in such a crib.  Katie looks like she could throw a small party with five or six of her closest friends and still have some room for Callie the dog.
