Today, this very moment, is the perfect time to renew my sense of oneness with all humankind. I begin by closing my eyes and seeing neighbor helping neighbor in times of need. I envision children laughing and playing together in perfect harmony. I picture caring people from every nation holding hands, encircling the earth. I see each person allowing God to speak through him or her so that love and compassion continue to reign. I give thanks for the opportunity to be a friend to those closest to me as well as to those in the farthest reaches of the world. I know there is no separation between each one of us, no barrier or boundary that the love of God cannot overcome. Renewed in spirit and filled with thoughts of love and compassion, I can declare my oneness in spirit with all humanity.

God, I know that one of the most loving things that I can do for others each day is to pray for them. So today and every day, I give thanks to You for my loved ones, family and friends, for the blessings they have been and continue to be, for the joy and happiness I receive just thinking about them. God, when You created my loved ones, I believe that You created people of pure love and joy. I am blessed and grateful by the opportunity to know them. It is an honor and a blessing to share my life with them. Although I cannot share a laugh with them face to face or even they don't notice my presence, every breath I take I carry them with me. And, God, I thank You for the tender care only You can give to those who are so precious to me. No matter how far away they may be from me, I feel so much peace in knowing that You are always with them, providing for their safety and well-being. Thank You, Thank You, God!
