Reflective Note

CALL class is an interesting class. It is fun but also so hard, especially for the one who do not know about computer technology very well like me. One troubled thing for me is website. Actually I was so confuse making a website. The teacher just gave a general explanation about making website, not in detail so I have to learn by myself.

But actually I can learn many things from this class. Started from mailing list, using geocities for uploading website, making website and also how to teach English through computer technology. All those things worth a lot for me and it makes me know many things that I don't know before.

On the final project, I found it interesting to create a lesson that introduce a computer technology to the students by learning English. But actually me and my partner found many difficulties in doing this project. We were confuse in choosing the material and the technology we're going to use to teach it. From the final project, we can be more knowledgeable to create a class using CALL approach.

As I feel that the material and activity in CALL class is too formal. If I may suggest, I think it will be more fun that CALL material and activity is changed into game. It will not for every meeting but it is just for refreshing. It can be held once a month.

One suggestion for all students who want to take this course. You all should not miss this class, just take it and you will enjoy it. But remember, you have to know about computer and internet very well so that you can come up with all duties and material that CALL class offers to you.
