2007 We had a really great time in This is how Mike’s rabbits placed in the shows on Saturday. We did not enter in any shows on Sunday. We went to the House on the Rock on the way back home!
We had planned on putting two nice proven does, Blaze and Faye, in the Seller’s Class at the National show. The way this class works is that you consign your rabbits to the class and put their pedigrees in the book so people can view them. Then the club assembles the rabbits on the table and the members are allowed to look at the rabbits for a few minutes. Then the Judge of the National Show sorts the class and picks one winner. The first place rabbit is sold last and the owner/seller receives a one year membership to the Havana RBA. The class is then sold by auction method with open bids. The proceeds are split 50/50 with the Havana RBA and the Seller of the rabbit. Well guess what? Mike’s rabbit Blaze was picked by Brent Rice as the Winner!!! That was exciting! And… She sold for $75.00 to Mike Sherwood of Olde Meadow Menagerie!!!! How exciting! We also put Faye, PeeWee and Dang
in the class. Dang sold to LD Humbarger. Faye sold
to a Lady from We are planning on consigning some high quality rabbits in
the seller’s class this fall at the ARBA Convention in |
