She was so young, and I was a much older man
She didn't smile at first, but when her big blue eyes
Stared into my soul that's when I think I realized
She'd be the light of my life, an Angel sent from Heaven to me
It should take longer than a month or two to fall so much in love
But a feeling like this comes like a lightning bolt from above
Each time I see her I always want to kiss her
When I look in those eyes, there's no way I can resist her
She's brought joy to my life, she's an Angel sent from Heaven to me
I never thought there could be
Someone so special to me
Her smiling face drives me wild
I guess that's Heaven's answer
For a Grandpa's first Grandchild...
To my Daughter hear these words,
"I'm so proud of you and all you've achieved
But the greatest gift your ol' Dad has ever received
Stands barely two feet tall and weighs only fourteen pounds
With a full head of hair and making cuddling sounds"
She's the light of my life, she's an Angel sent from Heaven to me
