| Hi everyone, Friday November 10 I was in London again, but for the moment I am through with that! Were in the Westminster Abbey, which I liked very much, also some shopping and went to Covent Garden. Saturday we (my sister Judith and her boyfriend Devis) went to Bath. On our way in the streaming rain watched those particular stones for 2 minutes, because we were sopping wet. In the evening dined in a very cosy Italian restaurant and slept in a very good Bed & Breakfast. Sunday went to Bath, which is a very nice place with many Roman traces. Also went into a Roman bath and further we walked around a little and then went to Bristol up on the Bridge, a very high bridge, but on the moment I don't remember that name. So monday flied to Edinburgh and now I'm staying in a very quiet hostel. Yesterday evening I went along with a ghosttour with an Australian boy, which was very nice. We've been to the graveyard in the dark and of course all those creepy stories about how it was before. Under lock and key was a small, separate graveyard and the guide had a key of it. It is locked, because they say there is a Poltergeist. Of course we entered and yes, Es couldn't hold her water and had a pee near one of the graves, where that Poltergeist sits sometimes, so I hope he will leave me alone! Of course suddenly a man with a mask jumped from behind a small wall, everybode frightened of course, but I already heard footsteps, unfortunately. Was very exciting to walk on a graveyard in the darkness and to hear all those stories. I think our tourguide really believed in that Poltergeist and she also told that in former groups the next day people had scratches and bruises in their faces. Well, we don't have anything, I tell you!!! Was very nice, after that been in a pub for a second and today explored Edinburgh and tomorrow I'm going to a castle in the city here. I'm also trying to book a 7- day tour, what brings me to the most beautiful places in Scotland. That tour starts this saturday, later on more of that. Big hug everybody, Es |
