Dr. Jean-Philippe Favreau is the founder of e-Star Consulting Limited.
Dr. Favreau has gained significant
operational, product and market experience across a broad spectrum of
information technology within EMEA and in America. He has developed and
implemented successful international business strategies offering enterprise
applications and B2C / B2B managed services and is fully conversant with the
dynamics of the European market place both fiscally and culturally.
Jean-Philippe held several senior executive positions in Europe and America, including Corporate Director Europe, Sales & Marketing at
Broadnet Europe; Vice-President
Europe, Services at Formus Communications; and Director of Cadmus Internet Publishing Division in
the US, where his work focused on the production of E-Commerce and heavy-engineered web-based solutions.
Jean-Philippe received his Doctorate degree in Computer Science from the University of Bordeaux, France in 1986 and his Master in Business Administration in Finance from the
Robert
H. Smith School of Business, University of Maryland,
USA in 1991.

Gerard Arendsen, a co-founder of e-Star Consulting, is a recognized senior expert in marketing analysis, marketing planning and business planning with respect to the international telecommunication markets and industries.
Gerard has over 28 years of experience and has carried out assignments for organizations as the European Commission, various Dutch Ministries and companies as KPN; Deutsche Telekom and Swisscom. He has an extensive experience in working in emerging markets and developing countries including Malaysia, Poland, Slovakia, Turkey and Palestine.
Gerard has published worldwide and is a recognized specialist in the analysis of the regional supply and demand of telecommunication services. He has been member of various International Delegations of the Dutch Minister of Telecommunications. Gerard Arendsen has a Master degree in Macro-economics and has various graduates in marketing analyses and marketing. He is fluent in Dutch, English, German and French.

Peter Miciak, a co-founder of e-Star Consulting Limited, has more than 12 years of high-tech experience in the telecommunications and manufacturing industries. His expertise focuses in the areas of implementation, operations, programme management, strategic planning, business-to-business sales, marketing, and vendor management. He has extensive experience in both established company and start-up environments, and has had both planning and operational responsibilities.
Most recently, Mr. Miciak was Regional Director of Programme Management at Formus Communications Europe B.V., where he oversaw the implementation of broadband wireless access networks in several countries across Europe. Earlier he served as Formus' Project Director in Poland. Mr. Miciak has also held project management positions with AT&T and sales and marketing positions with Schlumberger Ltd. |

As a fact, over this five years period; he managed the timely and success launch of 6 Telecom operators, within 6 European countries…Younger he started to work in pushchair industry for baby. Passionate by music, he is also supporting artists development but this is another story…

Benedicte Leblanc de Choisay
leads Sales Operations and brings more than 20 years in the High Tech, Computer, Network and Telecom
World.
In 2004, Benedicte was Country Manager for France and Northern European countries, for a Taiwanese Company specialized in DSL technologies for Telcos and ISP. She was in charge of most of the practices, including sales, finance marketing and technical.
Previously, Benedicte was European Manager Telecom Clients, at Intel. Customers included France Telecom, T-online, Club Internet, Worldonline, Easynet, Cegetel and British Telecom. Before, she worked for the ISP team to launch the first Intel servers in Europe. Benedicte knows well the world of Intel’s OEM, such as IBM, Hewlett-Packard and Dell.
In 1994, she joined 3Com and was in charge of developing business with clients such as France Telecom, Cegetel, Club Internet. Portfolio products
included Access servers (Total Control), analog and ADSL modems.
Benedicte worked also for telecom clients at Sat (a subsidiary of Sagem) and Racal Datacom,
She started her career in 1973 as a pre sales and sales with Xerox, selling Xerox Ethernet networks.
She graduated from CESA and INRIA (National Institute Research Automatic and Computer Sciences)

Benoît Abeloos,
brings an 11 years international management experience in
ICT (Information & Communications Technologies) and Energy industries, which
he developed in blue chip and start up companies, combining strategic vision
with operational efficiency.
His career includes several executive management
positions: he was Business Development Director in a venture
development firm based in Brussels, where he acted as General
Manager of IntairLink, a wireless Internet services venture. He
developed, assessed and submitted major business plans to large
corporations, investors and strategic partners. Prior to that, he
was Division Manager of Market & Product Development, at Broadnet
Europe, a Division of Comcast Corp.; International Senior Business
Development Manager of Belgacom S.A., Belgian Incumbent Telecom
Operator, in charge of major strategic international initiatives;
Network Operations Director at Belgacom France, and International
Transmission Facilities Planning Mgr for Belgacom S.A.
Benoit is faculty member of United Business
Institute in Brussels. He holds an MBA from the French Institute of
Petroleum and a MS degree in Electrical Engineering from the
Catholic University of Louvain (Belgium).

Christopher Richard brings more than 15 years experience at senior executive positions in Europe, starting-up and co-founding operations for telecommunications and high-technology entreprises, including server, application software, email solutions, services.
Most recently, from 2000 to 2003, Christopher was General Manager Southern Europe, Middle-East & Africa for Sendmail,
a US firm based in San Francisco. Sendmail is the world leader in software development and services for the transport of e-mail messages, implemented on the majority of internet servers in the world.
Previously, Christopher was General Manager of Lucent Technologies, for Southern and Western Europe - Voice Messaging Division, and before in 1992, Co-Founder and General Manager of the French subsidiary of Octel Communications, a US firm world leader in multimedia messaging. Octel was acquired by Lucent Technologies in 1997.
In 1984, he joined a start-up team in the Cad-Cam market - Dassault Systèmes - as Deputy to the General Manager. Christopher was sharing charge of most of the practices, including sales, finance and legal. He was instrumental in working with IBM to close the first important contracts for the company - Boeing, Daimler Benz, British Aerospace. Dassault Systèmes is the world leader in Cad-Cam software through its product portfolio CATIA.
Christopher Richard started his career in 1982 with Xerox selling Ethernet networks to global accounts.

Yves Chemla has been a senior executive managing high technology starts up since 1996. In his latest role, he was the managing director of COM-IP, a broadband satellite access provider, offering large band bi-directional Internet access and Intranet facilities to European enterprises.
Earlier in 2000, Yves became the Regional Director for EXODUS – France, initiating value-added and integration services. In 1997, he was General Manager for BDL Telecom, the first worldwide fax-over-IP provider. In 1990, Yves joined Sinorg International Company, “Caisse des depots et consignations group” division, as their business developer for tailor-made software and computer network integration. In 1985, Yves joined Lafarge Corp. to enhance existing export operations and develop new products within the oilfield market. In 1981, Yves worked at Schlumberger within the oilfield operations as a Field Service Engineer and worked in overseas operations (South America, Africa, and Far East).
Yves' background is both scientific (he studied at the University of Paris – VI, mathematics and physics), and business related (he completed in 1995 a Doctorate level “Management General” Executive Program at ESSEC, the leading French business school.
