| Frodo Baggins is the nephew of Bilbo Baggins, who raised him at Bag End when he was orphaned at an early age. When Bilbo traveled to Rivendell after his 111th birthday, he left Bag End and the ring of power to Frodo. | ||||||||||||
| After many years had passed, Frodo set out to Rivendell with the ring at the urging of Gandalf. He made it after many adventures. At the council of Elrond, Frodo volunteered to take the ring to Mount Doom to destroy it.
