The pivotal moment in my life came when I gave my life to Jesus Christ. He is the only way to God. If we try to impress God by being good enough, we'll never make it. He is too holy to be impressed with our attempts at goodness. So how can sinful man be accepted by a holy God? Only through faith in Jesus Christ and His shed blood, an acceptable sacrifice before God, made on our behalf, as atonement for our sin. Jesus said "He that cometh to me, I will in no wise, cast out". Turn to him today, right now. You'll never regret it! I was reading in my devotions recently about Jesus and the draught of fishes from Luke 5, and as I read, in Verse 8: When Simon Peter saw it, he fell down at Jesus' knees, saying, Depart from me; for I am a sinful man, O Lord. I began to remember the moment when I realized who Jesus was. I was saved as a small child but I didn�t grow much spiritually. I struggled and failed and was frequently backslidden and out of church, no prayer, no fellowship with God. But then something happened. I can�t explain how, but through reading the Bible, I saw Jesus. I�ve found when we see Jesus, we will do just as Peter did, we fall at His feet in humility, because it is only when we see Jesus, we can accurately see ourselves. Isaiah saw the Lord: �Then said I, Woe is me! for I am undone; because I am a man of unclean lips, and I dwell in the midst of a people of unclean lips: for mine eyes have seen the King, the LORD of hosts.� The reaction to seeing Jesus is always humility and repentance. I remember when I saw Jesus -- I saw His holiness, I saw His purity, I saw His righteousness, and I began to be afraid when I thought of all my sins, but then I looked at Him again and I saw His love for me � and something happened in my heart that changed me, changed my heart, changed my thoughts, changed my actions, changed everything. Do you remember the time you met Jesus, the time you really saw Him for Who He is? If you haven�t, you can know Him today! I grew up in church; I was saved at the age of five. I don�t remember what it was like to not be saved! I grew up in church, went to our Christian school, and then to Bible college � I learned Bible verses, I learned truths, I heard some of the greatest Christian leaders of our day � I saw miracles and all kinds of things, but the sad truth is, I never grew because most of the time I never took the time to see Jesus...
