June 15, 2000 - Meleriffic! What else?

(Update : Oops! I screwed up the link, it's fixed now... sorry, Mel.)

Anyone who hangs out at the message board over at blueman.com has probably seen a post or two from resident Blue Man Groupie Meleriffic. Well, Mel (S'okay if I call you Mel, Meleriffic?) has sent me a picture of herself donning the infamous Blue Man chest piece and having a great time. She also has the honor of being the first picture in the media section of Disciples of Blue Man!

(light applause)

I'd like to thank those of you stopping by, the site is receiving a surprising number of hits for only being up roughly a week.

All kinds of site updates...

Spent most of the day cleaning up the site... whee, fun.

If you are receiving ANY kind of errors while viewing this page, send me an e-mail with information on what browser you're using, resolution, etc.

At the top, you'll notice that a quote of the week has been added. I'll swing through the ones listed in the Luxor program first, for those unfortunate enough not to have one.

I've added the section titled 'Blue Man Sightings' to the right. This will give a break down of all the places that BMG will be playing. Check this out daily for the latest info on where the Blue Man Group will show up next!

I've also added 'Blue Man Message Board'. This is a direct link to the Blue Man Message Board located at blueman.com.

Blue Man Group chat is live as well. Stop by and say howdy.

June 12, 2000 - Blue Man Video Clip and Video for Sale!

Something of interest for you Blue Man fans out there. Found this clip out on notperformanceart.com. The clip is taken from a recording of a Blue Man performance and features the Cap'n Crunch skit. The video costs $13 and runs for thirty minutes. It is from an early production at the Franklin Furnace theatre in NY. This is before the 'Tubes' production. Check it out!

Found an interview with three of the Blue Man over at The Onion. It's worth a read, so head over and take a look. Here's an excerpt :

The Onion: How does the anonymity of being a Blue Man affect you?

Tahmus Rounds: Outside the show or inside?

O: Outside. It doesn't really matter during the show.

TR: Oh, yeah. It's great.

Michael Cates: If you need to get into a restaurant, it's always good to say, "Well, I'm a Blue Man." And they say, "Oh, come right in!"
