- How many beaches are within walking distance from the villa ? There are 5 beaches within walking distance covering all sorts of needs likes and dislikes. Crowded or not, organised or not, with sand or rocks or pebles these close distance beaches will most probably cover your needs. The names of these beaches are Agia Marina, Delavoya, Stivari, Batsi main beach and Kolona. All these beaches are within walking distance although you can even go by taxi if you think walking under the hot sun is too much for you. - How many worth to go beaches are there on the island ? The answer to this question is definately the most difficult one since the exact number of beaches is not formaly known. An estimation would be that is something over 50. The majority of the beaches are lonely waiting for "explorers" to find them and give them the feeling of loneliness and isolation they are looking for. There are of course a lot crowded, organised and cosmopolitan beaches that can cover your social side. - What kind of medical facilities are there on the island ? Firstly there is a drug store in close distance from the villa from where you can get everything you might need. Batsi medics can handle incidents of a certain level. There is a hospital in Chora(Andros) and in extremely difficult incidents people are transfered immidiatelly to Athens by helicopter. - How can i find more information about Andros and how to spend my time there? Andros is very famous for its museums and art galleries in Chora(Andros) where expeditions of world famous artists like Picasso take place every year. Other expeditions take place all around the island of lower profile artist who worth seeing too.
