| welcome to my website! the selection of work that you will see here was completed while i was living in waterloo, ia. originally from iowa, i grew up on the east coast and went to the delaware college of art and design in wilmington, de where i studied illustration. after two years at dcad i decided to move back to iowa to explore my roots (instead of continuing on with my formal education in art). during my time in iowa i developed a unique collage style that i call 'painting with paper' because my collages are often mistaken for paintings. every piece is based on lyrics from songs or poems; the quotes that inspired each piece are located at the bottom of the piece. please take the time to look over my work. i am available for commissioned work - if you have an idea for a piece email me ([email protected]) and we'll work out the details! |
