| Every Wednesday our team has been joining with a ministry in Capricorn, a nearby township, to play games, tell bible stories and sing songs with the children. At the same time we get to practically serve their needs by offering them sanwiches and drinks. |

| By relating with the childen in this way, doors are opened for us to model God's love as we reinforce the standing ministry. Our job as a short-term team is to motivate and encourage both the children and the staff. Full time ministry is hard work, and some fresh young people who are passionate about God can and will make a differnce! The longterm staff tell us often how much our contribution is apprectiated, and we also thank God for the priveledge of being here. |

| Our outreach coordinator is also the pastor of a church in another township called Mfuleni, so much of are ministry is connected to this church. Our team has lead youth services here and spent much of our time with the youth doing house vititations in the community to pray for people and invite them to church. Talking to strangers about God isn't so taboo as it might be in The West, so much our time is spent in one-to-one conversations with people, telling them about God and how they can know him as well in a personal way. |
