My Family

Well, first of all there's my mother-Betsy. She works in the Blood Bank @ the NIH. She's a certified web developer & has a website of her own called betsplace2000 which talks about our family & pets when we were younger, since it hasn't been updated in at least 7yrs. Plus some of the links go to parts of her career at another organization & the trip she and my sister took to Williamsburg a while back. She's a gr8 person really, but sadly a lil too busy. I gues that might have to do with her great working skills though :D, which of course helps her a ton.

Now my dad, Steve, works at a company down in DC as a Risk Manager, helping them which policies and assessing things. I don't get into it. However, he also own several apartments & condos, which he is beginning to sell. If anyone's looking to buy right now, please contact me. :) Furthermore, he deals in insurance matters having his own company. He's not alone though; he has a partner who works with him from time to time as he does his insurance sellings. In the past, he's taught computer & math courses at Montgomery College & substituted at varies schools all over the county, including for one of my classes. Additionally, he's involved in the MADRA organization. He always busy too, just like my mom b/c he takes on way too much work. We have a dishwasher in a car, that's been in there for around two years, which he is supposed to install. Plus, we need to get rid of that car! Well, that's my dad.

My brother, Brian, is 14 now (an incoming sophomore) who likes to rollerblade. He just left to go to Woodward up in PA for a week today. Last year was hist 1st year there, where he stayed for 2kws. B's also into PS2, Gameboy Advanced, & Nintendo, along w/ some computer games. He really just likes games. However, he doesn't always win which makes him SO mad & then he'll nearly have a tantrum yelling on about how the game cheats & can really start cussing up the waazoo. It's really terrible. I think we should burn all of the PS2 & Nintendo games. Anyway..he's still a nice guy & an ok brother..sometimes. It really just depends on the day, mood, & what's happening. I gues that just makes him human. :)

I also have a sister, Katie. She's the kinda girl who wants no siblings, hangs w/ her friends every Friday nite goin to yg or somewhere, & get decent grades. She's ok, but can be seriously bothered by anything. I just wish she would stop being so hipocritical. But hey, some people just can't change. I tell you 1 thing: mainly the only time she's nice to me @ all is when I compliment her cooking or drive her somewhere. On a better note, she can be nice, does a little guitar, & has a very wide variety of interests & likes. She's into the whole Marilyn Manson - Rob Zombie kind of thing, which i don't get or like. I have 2 cousins. Michael & Jen. Michael lives in CA w/ his wife & daughter (& sadly doesn't have a picture here), & Jenny lives with my aunt, Nancy. Jen's a teacher @ a high school in VA right now. She finished college at Georgetown University majoring in Marketing & Business a couple years ago. Jen has also been in two short independent films recently made by Nancy & her boyfriend Carl. In the first she kills a man! And in the second she has an affair with a foreigner! S-C-A-N-D-A-L-O-U-S. For the second movie, after dinner when we were all leaving, I told her then "I don't approve of what you did, but I understand". She & her boyfriend Eric (to the left) laughed. I think they've been dating for 8 months now, but I'm not sure. Mike (my other cousin) is married & has a wonderful little toddler girl.

Nancy writes articles on franchises for USA Today for a living, working @ home w/ her 2 cats Shadow & Fluffy. Nancy has been w/ Deryck for probably 8 yrs now & they are very happy. She also has her own website @ www.nancyscott.com & a book called Spirit Line.
