It all started as simply stealing cigarettes from our parents...stealing cigarettes and smoking them under the bridge. I was fourteen. However, as all good things must come to an end, eventually mom and dads cigarettes became too far and few between. Fishing was now to become a necessity to addiction.To those unclear of the Delaware definition of �fishing,� it entails the harassment of innocent civilians. �Fishing� is bugging people to buy one�s cigarettes. Once a plan of action was set in place, friends and I would commence our version of angling. When a promising looking citizen would approach, he/she was announced as �a winner� and bravery would be mustered for the confrontation. For every five times �Will you buy me a pack of cigarettes?� was declined, and the odds finally in our favor, cigarettes would always be obtained. The rest is history. Smoking became a passion of my mine. Recently I decided to quit. But how does one part with an eight year love affair?
