New York City Listserv
This is a listserv, mailing list, and newsgroup for people of New York City who are Deaf or Hard of Hearing. 
The National Association of the Deaf (NAD)
The National Association of the Deaf (NAD) is an advocacy group for the Deaf and Hard of Hearing.  This website has current information about what is going on in the Deaf community and posts issues about providing equal opportunities for Deaf people.
Oral Deaf Education
A site that helps parents and teachers teach students through oral Deaf education.  Free materials for parents, teachers, audiologists and speech pathologists, medical professionals, students, and prospective students.
Sound and Fury
A Public Broadcasting Station (PBS) presentation about exploring the world without sound.  This program and website debates the issue of cochlear implants.
Say What Club
A non-profit Internet based organization that provides a mailing list and newsletters for adults who are hard of hearing or Deaf.
42Explore
Another site that is beneficial to students (both hearing and Deaf) and teahcers is 42explore.  This site is valuable because it provides lesson plans and reading material on
how to teach Deaf and Hard of Hearing children.  In addition, students can also learn American Sign Language and practice it on the site links and game links.  Lastly, teachers can have studetns particpate in an American Sign Language webquest or make their own sign language greeting card.
American Sign Language (ASL:) Teacher Listserv
A listserv available for teachers to communicate with other teachers who teach American Sign Language.
Signs of Spring
Teachers, check out this first grade classroom that integrates sign language into their daily curriculum.
Student Research (Center for Deaf Studies)
This European university site is determined to inform the Deaf community by providing courses of study that enhance one's understanding of Deafness and sign language.  Each page has a sign language interpreter, who signs the page in ASL to Deaf or Hard of Hearing visitors.
Gallaudet University's Laurent Clerc National Deaf Education Center
Gallaudet University's Lauret Clerc National Deaf Education Center is a great resource for teachers and parents.  This site was developed to improve the quality of education for Deaf students.  Learn how to help students reach their full potential through three priority areas: literacy, family involvement, and transition to postsecondary education and employment.
