End of summer 2005
It's been a great Summer. Erik's had a heck of a time. Now that Donavon and Mom are in town, he'll be getting to know them! He's sure missed Donavon and he loves his new grandma and grandpa! He doesn't know quite how to act about them but he knows he loves them!
Halloween is coming! Can you believe how fast time flies. I've been bad about posting new pics but just wait I have alot to upload. I'll get them up soon!. Please send us pictures to post, I'd like to start posting our family pics up here too. See you all soon!

Summer 05 ready to go!
Erik had a great begining of the summer. We went up to the valley and went rock climbing. We hiked all around a whole mountian and back. We crawled up huge rocks and found a cave and crawled up to the center of the mountain.
Erik did great until we got to the bottom of the mountain where he fell down and scraped his knee. Don't worry everyone, Erik is a trooper and he was A ok.
I didn't bring the camera unfortunately, I didn't want to have to carry it around as we crawled up the rocks. I need to get a smaller cam for these occasions. Keep checking in for all that is Erik!

We just had a wonderful Easter Erik got alot of really good candy. He wasn't feeling too good so he'll have to wait to eat it all but we're sure he'll have no problemseating it all!.
We've finally gotten trhough the rainy winter weather. It'll be great now that we'll be able to enjoy the beach.
Athough times are tough for everyone we still find a way to have a great time... stay tuned for more exciting news.
As you can see I bought a new camera so I'll be updating Eriks site every month. We'll not be missing anymore of our best little mans life.

Summer is upon us and we've been doing great. Susan and Dave and family came to visit us, we had a great time. We went to the beach and spent the day in santa monica.
The Sun is finally out and it's beach time! We have quite a few new pics to post so we'll get those up asap. Erik's starting to bable and boy does he know what he's saying. I can't wait till we know too.
Donavon is up visiting his mother so we hope he's having a great time. That's all for now, keep an eye on the site because new pics are coming soon.

Well it's official the Lakers run of 3 in a row is over. Just think ever since Erik's been born the Lakers have been the champs!
Erik's been growing and doing very well. I guess we jumped the gun with the height he's now officially 36 inches. He's starting to talk and loves Harry Potter. He can't get enough of the flying car. He flies all his cars into the lemon tree.
Dad turned 38 last month, but doesn't look more then 35. :)

Erik finally turned 2! He's doing great and getting bigger by the day. He's about 37" now and growing. He's had a heck of a year so far, with this birthday and getting to go to Disneyland. Check out the lasted pics.
Donavon finished Basket Ball, and although his team didn't get into the finals he did enjoy this season. Donavon will be getting his drivers license soon! We'll post pics of his car soon!
And in other news here come our Los Angles Lakers. 1 more for 4! The Shaq attack is back!

A new year!...
We finally made it to 2003. Christmas was alot of fun. Erik got a new trike. He really likes to ride around on it. Donavon got a new bed and dresser set from Ikea, he's very happy about his big bed. We got Leah an extra special present this year, a full weeks worth of clothes. Styles have changed quickly so we got her an all updated wardrobe, thanks Kelli for the help! I got great multi track sound card system for my computer, new tracks are on the way everyone!
Erik as always is getting bigger and bigger, I can't keep up with the growth chart. We'll re-measure him in here soon. He's finally in the big kids class at school. Good going Erik!
Don is enjoying his new jump shoes lets hope he can touch the rim someday!. That's is for now!

Looks like we've almost made it through another year. It's been a year of fun for all of us.
We all had a great Thanksgiving. Leah's family, Jeff and Jeremy and friends all came to eat, sing and have a
good time. It was so good to have everyone show up for this family event.
Erik grew another inch over the last month 37 inches and growing. Whew!
Erik started school! He is in with the small kids for only one more visit then he'll get to play with the
big kids, 3 and older....Hold on Erik you'll get there soon enough....That's it for now, new pics are coming soon!

A month of Birthdays...
Both Leah and Donavon have birthdays this month. Leah will be 21 (again) and Donavaon will be 16.
It's getting exciting for Donavon, he'll be driving his car very soon. Watch out world.
We went up to Hearst Castle and had a great time. We have some pictures and will post them soon.
That place is just so cool! It would be great to spend the weekend in the castle. Maybe once I'm a billionaire I
can afford a castle of my own!
Leah passed all of her classes and can get around a computer with ease now! Good going Leah.
Donavon is doing very well in hoop this year. He may make JV! Lets wish him the best!.
It's offical!! Erik hits 3 feet before his 2nd Birthday! Good going Erik Shaqler!

ERIK WHISTLES...
Erik put his mouth in a circle and blasted out his first note while watching a video. Erik
suprised us all with this event. We've tried to get him to do it again, but it's something
that we can't make him repeat. Either way it was great to see him at least give it a toot!
Santa Ana winds blasted in this last weekend so we decided to go to the beach. We spent most of the day
playing with Erik. He went up and down the beach for 3 hours. He was a very tired little
guy when he got home.
Leah is busy studying, and passing all her courses in computers. She's doing very well and we are
glad to see her making her way into the daunting world of computers.
Donavon is busy getting ready for basket ball. He ran the mile in 5:35, thats an amazing time!
He's in the team and is really playing well.
Donavon also got his first car! A 1974 Plymouth Duster, in great shape. No major dents and no rust.
The interior is spotless and it actually runs well. We'll be posting some pics of his car soon.

Our New site is getting alot of compliments. Thanks for the kind words everyone.
Erik is finally getting the last of his teeth in. It's been a rough road for our little
buddy. No more of the dreaded burning butt.
He's been very much into watching sports, he imitates baseball pitchers. When we are watching
football he'll run back and forth through the living room. He really wants to run with the ball.
Another funny thing is he knows the difference in the ball shapes. If he's been watching football
he wants to wear his football shirt and he lets you know it.
We got little Erik a #8 Lakers uniform. When we gave it to him he saw the "8" on the jersey and
then pointed up to the poster of Kobe on his wall. He knew 8 was Kobe's number. I was amazed.
