Stained glass comes in many different textures,
colors and clarity. Each option can have a different
effect on a piece that will be attractive to some, and not
so much to others. For example, I find that opalescent
glass has more character than cathedral glass which is
typically a colored clear glass with some type of
texture. Opalescent glass is a type of glass that is not
clear but is opaque, however the colors can be more
vibrant and makes interesting glass panels.
