Here are some comments from
my previous employers about my service:
UCT CAVES Project
His job of Scenario Developer carries
the following responsibilities: C++ programming, User Help documentation, VR
scenario development and public lectures to classes at UCT on how to use the VR
authoring system developed for the CAVES
project. Eric is skilled in C++ programming and Python scripting. His work
is of a very high standard and he has been able to work independently and
interpret the given requirements accurately. I have known him to be a
reliable and dependable person who fully enjoys his work.
I would happily re-employ Eric as I
consider him to be a valuable member of the team, who consistently achieved good
results and delivers all expectations.
Blue Box Design
Eric has worked at The Blue
Box for a period of two months to gain experience in web design and production.
During this period he has been involved in various website projects including
the development of our new company website. These projects have furthered
his skills in the programs Macromedia Flash and Dreamweaver. We have
seen his strengths in visual design and communication through the impressive
way he has produced the projects for us. He has proven to be creative
and has used his intiative in the projects he was given.
Eric has a committed and
dedicated work ethic. He is very willing to learn and is a positive
and friendly person - it has been a pleasure to work with him over the
past two months.
I have no hesitation in recommending
Eric to future employers who should require these skills.
Midlands Pine
Products
He was initially employed
as a casual worker in the Sanding section of our factory. Due to
his outstanding Matric (Grade 12) results he was offered a position in
the Administration Department, which he accepted.
He was appointed as a Data
Capturer and responsible for timber stocks valued at about R1 million.
The quality of work that Eric produced was exemplary. He works very
methodically and accurately with little or no supervision at all.
Eric was instrumental in
having our company listed on ISO 9002 and FSC certification. He assisted
with implementing systems and documenting these into procedures.
A person of Eric's calibre
is very hard to come by. He is very intelligent and always willing
to learn something new. He is honest, reliable and extremely dependable.
A little quiet and very religiously inclined. He is very punctual
and is always well groomed.
We are aware that Eric wishes
to study further and we at Midlands Pine Products wish him every success
in his studies.
Bekezela Adventure
Farm
From July 1997 till July
1998 Eric was on the staff of Bekezela, running leadership course for juniors.
He is mature beyond his age,
a committed and responsible person whom I could fully trust.
