Eugene, OR had great places for taking pictures of airplanes. Summer days made it easy to take pictures of the Horizon Dash 8 (left) and the Mesa/United Express Beech 1900D (above)
I don't care much for Spokane, WA (below) but I can't resist the beauty of a 727
Skywest has flights from Pasco, WA (above) to Salt Lake City on one of the quietest jets: Canadair CRJ
The one time I remember being in San Francisco (above), and I got to see a United 747-400!
Skywest celebrated their 25th anniversery by painting one of their Embrear Brasilias seen here at Pasco, WA
Boeing uses Pendleton to do touch and gos for some of their 737s, like the one delivered to Air France, above.
Some smaller airports know how to do it right with glass, steel, wood and light!! Above left is Roberts Field, Redmond, OR served by United Express and Horizon. Above right is Manon Sweet Airport, Eugene, OR served by Shuttle, United Express, Skywest and Horzon.
At right: The same terminal building has been standing at Pendleton Oregon since before United stopped flying there. Now, only Horizon flys there and this is the whole cozy terminal.
PDX had their longest runway closed for paving. During that time was great for getting shots of the cargo jets like the DC-10 FedEx laning on the shorer runway!
