Above and below are my to favorite jets.   Above is the 747SP pained for South African, and below is a BAe-146 that carried the Canucks in the pre-season in 1992 when they defeated the LA Kings at Memorial Coleseum in Portland, OR.
Delta is the only major carrier to serve Pasco, WA (737 above, 727 below)
Concorde made a stop in Portland, OR in 1989. Who knew metal could look so graceful?
This Horizon Air Dash 8 was late into Pendleton due to a terrific spring storm.
Shuttle, United's airline-within-an-airline flies daily from LA and San Francisco to the above exotic locale--Medford, OR.
Cool fall days in Pasco, WA can lead to some really great shots. Even shots of the dumbest looking planes, like the Beech 1900D, above.
This is a rare sight. Horizon F-28 pulled up to the jetway at the Boise airport.. It's rare because this jet has stairs built into the door, which folds up.
Some call the Metroliner III above the flying sewer tube. It's just about as big as one. No head room and every seat is a window seat AND an aisle seat. This one, seen in Spokane, WA, belonged to Empire Airways of Coeur d'Alene, ID.
Kansas City MO was where I got this picture of AirTran 737-200
A place on the web to find thousands of great airplane shots is at airliners.net. But before you visit them, check out my second airplane page (click the arrow below)
