nine7six was formed over the fall of 1999 and eventually broke up in the summer of 2000. nine7six played several shows throughout Springfield and released a self titled cd in the Spring of 2000. The cd was wildy popular and included such fan favorites as "AWAY", "LIE", and "WHAT IS". Tony Rosati was eventually replaced after the cd was released by Jay Shipley. The band's demise came after Jay moved to K.C. and Eric Jameson left to play in WAJA in Dallas TX. Eric E. and James Wilson went on to form Shooting Lucy and Jim Kellam went on to play with the hugely popular cover band Ephigy.

Slang was formed over the fall of 1998 and lasted for nearly a year until the band went there seperate ways in the summer of 1999. Slang was mainly a cover band that went through dozens of lineup changes until the magic was found. The band covered many of the times most popular artists including Metallica, Eve 6, and Rob Zombie. Slang only played one show at Planet Branson in Branson MO and went over very well with the crowd there that night, but the band unfortunatley broke up after the show due to Ivan's massive case of stagefright, and Jayson's previous commitments.

Shooting Lucy was formed in the fall of 2000 by ex-nine7six members Eric E. and James Wilson. Looking for a more technical approach than nine7six, Eric And James called on drummer Robb Cloepfil whose chops allowed the band to go in a more musical direction. The band then called on Eric's old Slang bandmate Jayson Wiles to round out a very balanced lineup. The band released their self titled cd in the spring of 2001. The bands signature song "NOT FOR REAL" quickly recieved airplay on Springfield's US97 and was even put into rotation on a station near St. Louis. The songs "WHAT IS" and the Def Leppard cover "TOO LATE FOR LOVE" also recieved some airplay. After the band played it's cd release party and was looking to start gigging throughout the midwest to support the cd, Jay left the band due to personal problems. After the band replaced Jay with a more bluesy singer, Eric left due to musical differences therefore ending Shooting Lucy.

Naked Sunday was formed over the summer of 2002 after Jay (ex-nine7six) moved back from K.C. and called Eric looking for a band. Eric and Jay found Anisa after she responded to an ad at a music store. The search was then on for a bass player after James Wilson (ex-nine7six and Shooting Lucy) was unable to commit to the project. The band then came across Chad Bolen, and NS was born. Naked Sunday recorded their self titled cd before ever playing their first gig, an opening slot for the Van Halen cover band Fair Warning. The cd, just like the show, was a huge success going over 10 times greater than anybody could of ever of hoped for throwing the band into instant headline status. The cd spawned the single "LET IT GROOVE" that recieved massive airplay on Q102. Other Highlights from the cd included the funky upbeat pop rock song "SITTING IN THE SUN" and the emotionally powerful "I WAS HOPIN". The band came to an end in the summer of 2003 after Chad left the band after being unable to commit himself fully to the project and then Eric left the band due to a difference of opinion with Jay and Anisa on the future of the band.
Eric, who began playing guitar at the age of 15, has released 2 solo cd's, the 1997 "ONE VISION" and the 1998 "DEMENTIA".
