Eric's Garage
Sale
NOTE: You might have to
hit RELOAD if the pics don't appear.
As you can see by the pic on my homepage, the garage is getting a bit
cluttered these days. It's one thing to have some spare parts a underfoot,
it's another thing to stub your toe on a 20 lb. piece of metal.
Anyway, below are a few parts that I have no real need for right now.
So I'm offering them up for sale. Email me at [email protected]
if you are interested or have any questions about these items.
NOS Chrome Piston Rings
for a Buick 225:
Ah
there's nothing like a vague auction on eBay to help me buy the wrong
parts. Still though, these piston rings could be handy for the right person.
This is a near-complete set of Jeep brand piston rings (standard bore)
for the old 225 engine. Part number T396535 STD. I say "near-complete"
because there are only 5 sets (pistons worth) of rings in here. The rings
are in new condition, and they come in the factory box, wrapped in the
factory paper. Might be useful if you have a standard bore 225 that has
(or might have in the future) bad compression in a few cylinders.
$20 plus shipping
Ford Engine to T90 Transmission
Adapter:

I picked this up as insurance in case I did something irreversible in
tearing down my 226 Super Hurricane. Now it's a great doorstop (the adapter,
that is). I'm selling the adapter by itself, I don't know if it requires
any bearings or other parts. It's made of aluminum, so shipping costs
should not be so bad.
$40 or I will trade for a rebuilt carburetor to fit my 226 engine.
Intake and Carb for a Smallblock
Chevy V8:
I got this from my neighbor at his moving sale. His dad bought it while
he was visiting, but could not take it on the plane back home. So he left
it with his son and never bothered to get it shipped. Finally, the neighbor
had to move and dad told him to just get rid of it. Now it's a paperweight
at my house.
You
too could be the next proud owner of this intake/carb! The Rochester carb
probably needs to be rebuilt because it has been sitting for a long time.
It looks like a two-barrel, but I think its ID number says that it's a
single barrel. The number is 70400600340XJI. The intake looks to be in
good shape. Wouldn't hurt to take off the carb and blow compressed air
through each intake before hooking it up. It has been sitting in numerous
garages for a few years, so it's probably full of spider webs.
$40 for the set or I will trade for a rebuilt carburetor to fit my 226
engine.
