The board of directors responsibility lays in ensuring the effective leadership of the SLBT in acheiving its goals. This leadership lays in the day-to-day operations of the SLBT as a whole.
The board of directors shall comprise of two (2) to eight (8) members of the SLBT. The directors are elected by the members each quarter (3 monthes) at the quarterly members meeting.
At each quarterly meeting of the members of the SLBT, the directors shall be elected by the members. In order for an individual to become a candidate, they must be nominated by no fewer then two (2) members of the SLBT, excluding themselves. Current directors are automatically made candidates without the need for a nomination.
Any member of the board of directors may call for a meeting of the board of directors at any time. This is done by requesting this directly to the Chairman of the Board of Directors or the Secretary. If a director requests a meeting of the directors, he/she must provide a valid topic of discussion for the meeting.
Each director is entitled to ten (10) votes at the quaterly members meeting and special members meeting. Each director is only granted one (1) for all elections of directors.
