Today will go down in League history as the day that all of the hard work and hustle payed off and League had to fight for what they knew was rightfully theirs. It all started with the arrival of Jeff and Scoot and the discovery that the court had been taken by non-league members. As Jeff and Scoot waited for the arrival of the other members, they began to shoot in disgust on a hoop with no net. As each member arrived, you could see the look on their face of confusion and unhappiness. As League came together, they decided to do what they felt was right....fight for their right to play and play them for the court. As league decided on the four members to battle (Jeff, Kurt, Scoot, Ian), the other players were no match for what League had assembled. Ian hit some clutch three's and League prevail with an effortless 11-7 victory! After that game, real League started.
The League players involved today were Jeff, Scoot, Ian, Kurt, Brad, Todd, Mike, and Ian's brother Derek. We had some great 4 on 4 match-ups. The best games had the teams split up as Jeff, Brad, Mike and Kurt vs Scoot, Ian, Todd and Derek. After three long fought battles, the team of Jeff, Brad, Mike and Kurt prevail in the three game series 2-1.
Although the day started with some uncertainty, League came together and found a way to take over what is ours and will always be ours!

League was back in action today! Although there was some rain and complications with getting some players rounded up, we were able to get Scoot, Jeff, Kurt, Brent and Dave to have a little 2 on 2 tourny in the wet and sluggish court of Eags. There were some great games and great match-ups formed. The team of Kurt and Jeff had a nice winning streak of 5 games. The team that snapped that streak, Brent and Dave, also had a streak of 5 straight games. Hopefully next time there will be no rain and some people will get there laundry done before League!
