| RFM hospital, Swaziland: Me with the first baby I ever delivered (I'm the one in the white coat and stethoscope). I use the term "delivered" quite loosely, since I really sorta just caught it while the midwife told me what to do. But hey - not fumbling the newborn deserves a little credit. |

| This hippo skull, obviously posessed by some kind of muti (evil magic), attacked my head while I was visiting the Mlilwane Nature Reserve in Swaziland. At the exact moment the securtiy cameras took this frame, the excrutiating pain had caused me to loose conciousness. Fortunately, I later managed to rouse myself from a coma-like state and beat the monster into submission with my fists. It's a good thing I've got a thick skull. |
