At first Harry didn't say anything, but stood there with his mouth wide open. James floated above the ground, transparent, for a few moments before he spoke. "Harry? Is that you?"

"Yea. All fifteen years of me."

"Fifteen? You're fifteen already?"

Harry smiled and looked at the clock. It was 11:59.

" Well, I will be in about a minute."

James smiled now too. "Oh," he said, "Put on your mothers ring. She'll want to see you too."

Harry put on his mother's wedding band, simply incrusted with a singular diamond on his little finger, and it just squeezed on enough. The exact same thing happened, and in seconds Lily stood before him. She looked highly disappointed for a moment, before James tapped her shoulder, and she turned around to see him. She squealed with happiness, and threw her arms around his shoulders. Then she turned to Harry. "Hello, Harry." She placed her hand on his shoulder, only to find it went through him. It felt like an icy wave had gone through Harry, but he didn't mind. He could talk to his parents. At last.

The three of them talked to each other for hours, and even then Harry didn't seem to have told them enough. He couldn't bring himself to tell them all about Sirius and Wormtail and the betrayal that had happened. It was that way until James asked Harry if he could see Sirius. Harry couldn't bring himself to tell him much, but did tell him what he could.

" Sirius isn't here, Dad."

James and Lily looked at each other and smiled. Then Lily said,

"So he's on a date? Well I can't blame him, he was the most handsome boy in our school besides James."

"Mom, thats not it."

Now James looked concerned. He pulled his hand through his hair and then asked diligently, "Harry, where exactly is Sirius? He should be here, he was your godfather."

"I know, Dad, but something got in the way. He's in hiding."

James didn't ask any further. He looked around the bedroom, surveying it, and then he whispered to Harry, "Harry, what is this place? It's no where for a wizard like you." Harry was just about to explain when Lily interrupted him.

"I've been here before. A long time ago, before I died. This is, this is where Petunia lives, isn't it?"

Harry bit his lip, took a deep breath and explained everything, including Sirius and Wormtail and all he knew from his parent's death, and how he came to live with the Dursleys. James asked some more questions, until it came to his invisibility cloak, which Harry had grown quite fond of. Harry told him that it had been sent to him by Dumbledore. At the mention of his name Lily snapped back into paying attention, from surveying Hedwig.
" You mean he's still Headmaster? Oh, James, I remember when he caught us on one of our night strolls and he was so angry with me! He deducted points from both of us, and we ended up telling people we had gone to the restricted section for that project we were working on!"

Harry let the two of them talk among themselves while he wrote back to Sirius, telling him all about his parents being able to talk to them. They had told him they weren't real, of course, as they were only a memory of what they once were. Harry didn't mind, and still wrote telling Sirius that he had given Harry the best present ever.

Thx to Jade for putting this up, i couldn't have don it otherwise, and keep on reading, cause it gets better as you go on.
