YOUR GUIDE TO N O M CERTIFICATION

If your company is interested in Marketing its products in MEXICO you will need to obtain the Official Quality Assurance Seal Recognized by the Mexican Government, the N O M ( Norma Oficial Mexicana ) CERTIFICATION. Since 1994 this seal of Product Quality Assurance has been the ONLY Safety Seal recognized by the MEXICAN Authorities for use in the Marketplace. The N O M is also required in order to introduce and Market any product into the Mexican Territory. If your company wants to sell your electronic, electrical, mechanical or other product within the borders of MEXICO, surely your clients will request that your product carries this seal of approval. Major retailers, Government and Corporate Purchasing Departments will not even look at your products unless you submitt your N O M Approvals with your product samples.
