ShareMailPro Overview

ShareMailPro is an Email server for Windows . Different from other email server , it just fits for SOHO . One Internet access account + one e-mail box + ShareMailPro = e-mail for your entire company.

ShareMailPro also provide a FREE software called "Notifyer" to check email periodly and inform you the new coming email.

Principle

How ShareMailPro only need one email mailbox to provide email service for the whole company ?

Requirements for ShareMailPro :
Your company must have a Domain Name.
Must apply 1 mailbox under this domain name from your ISP, and the ISP must forward all the messages to this domain to this mailbox .

For example, let's say that a company has a domain, mycompany.com, and an accompanying e-mailbox, [email protected], hosted at their ISP. The ISP alias or forward, all email sent to mycompany.com to the [email protected] regardless of their mailbox name . So, all e-mail message received by an ISP with the mycompany.com, such as [email protected], [email protected], are stored in the [email protected] . ShareMailPro can then log into this single POP3 e-mail box, retrieve all e-mail messages, sort them out by user name , and send them to the matching mailbox that you've defined in ShareMailPro. Then everybody send/receive their e-mail as usual.

ShareMailPro also acts as a local email exchanger. Local messages will be delivered to the receiver's mailbox directly.

Both receiving and sending emails are working at the same time in multithread mode.

You can add mailbox at anytime, no need to apply through ISP, no need to pay more money.

Auto Recv-Send Email

ShareMailPro will receive and send email automatically. It can work in two methods. One is working every predefined time , the other is working by schedule . Also user can send urgent mails. ShareMailPro will deliver the mail immediately .

Support Alias

ShareMailPro support Alias for email box. An alias is another name for a specified mailbox. Messages addressed to the alias will be delivered to the real named mailbox.

Email Broadcasting

Broadcasting is an advanced feature for user. The mail sent to this account will be copied to every member of ShareMailPro, so everybody will receive this email . It seems as the mail list but you needn't subscribe it. Often broadcasting is used for Notice and Announcement.

Dial Up Networking

Dial-Up Networking enables ShareMailPro to connect to the Internet by phone line. ShareMailPro will automatically use Microsoft's Dial-Up-Networking to dial the modem and connect to your service provider.

Run As NT Service

ShareMailPro can also work in NT Service method.

POP3 Proxy

Through POP3 proxy, user can receive any mail from internet.

Refuse Email Spam

ShareMailPro can check every message according to where it comes from and its size, avoiding large and spam emails .

Activity Logging

ShareMailPro can log all network activities passing through it.

Email backup

All the email received and sent by ShareMailPro can be backup. It will tighten up the management.

Support firewall/proxy

ShareMailPro can work behind firewall/proxy server . ShareMailPro uses SOCKS v5 protocol to cross the the firewall/proxy. Most of the firewall/proxy can support this protocol.

Remote Control

Everyone can change their account password remotely.

Exchange for Inner emails

If mails are only for local mailbox, ShareMailPro will exchange them locally, not send to internet again .

Support Mail List

Mail list mailbox allows a single message to be sent to many list members. A list has several options to control how it works and can be configured to allow members to subscribe and unsubscribe the list by simple messages.
