MY FULL NAME IS ELIZABETH J. LIM . I'm 34 years old, a widow with no children. My friends call me BETH. I am an AB (English major) graduate of The National Teachers College located in Nepomuceno St., Quaipo, Manila. I graduated last March, 1997. I am a PRC licensed teacher and I've been teaching for eight years now. One semester before my college graduation( wayback 1996), I started teaching Korean students "conversational English". Right after graduation (May, 1997-March, 1999) the Immanuel Lutheran High School located At Tugatog , Malabon hired me as an English Teacher. I taught English Literature to 1st and 2nd year high school students there for two years. At the same time, I also worked as a part-time Social Science Subjects College Instructor at the Philippine Science and Technology Centers from 2nd Sem, SY 1997-1998 to 2nd Sem, SY 1998-1999 ( PSTC, Caloocan Branch, ). Then I was transferred to PSTC Cavite Branch and worked as a full time Institute Instructor for Social Science subjects too. There I taught Communication English, Values, History, Humanities and Personality Development subjects to 1st and 2nd year college students for two years, from June, 1999-March, 2001. I was also appointed as Social Science Department Coordinator for one semester and. At the same time, aside from my teaching loads I also worked as a volunteer in the IPT Dept. of the Institute. My duties here were to look for possible industries and companies (specifically in Cavite area which is known as place where IT and Electronics related companies stayed in large concentration) where we can deploy our graduating students for them to have their practicum. We also train/prepare them for their OJT (On The Job Training) by conducting seminars. Our Dept. was also responsible for the innovation of classroom lectures/modules through industry links. Working in a computer institute really help me a lot, I became a computer enthusiasts ( I was before , my stay there stir it up again )I was able to use my long stagnant computer skill and did culture it again . As of now, I am teaching computer to Elem. And High School students for PH Technologies Inc., a company rendering computer services and computer units to different schools in the Philippines. It is located at 3rd Floor Pearl Plaza, Tambo Parañaque. I was assigned to a school in Muntinlupa. ( Mary, Cause of Our Joy Catholic School ). Through this school I was able to share my computer knowledge in MS WORD, MS EXCEL, ALLADIN and other useful softwares as well as Internet and Web Page Making using HTML to other people. As of now, I am assigned as a computer teacher to St. Andrews, An exclusive school for the boys located in Parañaque City. I am now sharing my web designing passion to the cute & smart students of this school. ;+) As of now I am teaching Englsih as a Foreign Language (EFL) to foreign students at EAC-ILc ( Emilio Aguinaldo College-Intl. Language Center ) located here at U.Un. Ave. Manila, Philippines. Most of my students are Koreans. We also have Chinese,Taiwanese students and other Asian students. I've been teaching here for more than one year now and I am enjoying my job a lot. I have great students from different parts of the world. Aside from my job as an EFL teacher now, I also work part-time as a College Instructor in a computer institute. I am teaching Social Science subjects specifically Professional Ethics and Values Education . I enjoy my job a lot cause my working ambience is almost perfect. Its really good to work with great people. I am looking forward of finding my "Boaz". If you want to know more about it try to read the book of Ruth in the Old Testament part of the bible. For me innovation is a challenge. I love learning and technologies a lot That's why I see to it that I do surf the Web at least once a week so as to be up-dated with the latest trends in teaching and in the other information that would be of help for me as a professional. MY FAVORITE PAST TIME IS SURFING THE INTERNET. I ALSO FIND "HTML PROGRAMMMING" VERY BRAINSTORMING . I beleive that Honesty is the best policy.... sincerity of the heart matters most more than physical looks...
