ASPIRATIONS OF THE ENGLISH LANGUAGE PANEL 2002
Theme : English Is The Window To The World

1. The teaching and learning of the relevant skills in English to be carried out effectively, efficiently and interestingly with the help of multi-media.
   
2. Plan and implement an effective programme to raise the English Language proficiency level of the students in the school.
   
3. Improve the English Language results in Penilaian Menengah Rendah (PMR) 2002 and Sijil Pelajaran Malaysia (SPM) 2002.
   
4. Excellence in PMR 2002 and SPM 2002.
   
5. Building a Strong Foundation in English for Form One and  Form Four.
   
6. Encourage the students to continuously strive to learn the English Language through  Journal Writing, preparation of scrap books, role-play activities, quiz, competitions etc.
   
7. Encourage extensive reading in English among the students by promoting newspapers, magazines, classroom library in addition to class readers and involve students with 'Projek Banyak Membaca Nilam'.
   
8. Assess the progress of the students continuously by giving sufficient written work, correcting written work promptly for effective feedback, preparing monthly test and examination papers with the help of JPUs and recording the grades of the students for appropriate follow-up action.
   
9. Enrich the Questions Banks for Form 3 and Form 5.
   
10. Organize English Language Week in June 2002.
    
11. Enrich the Self-Access Corner or Center to encourage learner autonomy in learning English.
    
12. Keep abreast with the current trends and developments in the learning and teaching of English.
    
13. Encourage the use of newspaper in the classroom (NIE).
    
14. Encourage students to be involved in every activity in the English Language Society.
    
15. Organize English in Camp.
    
16. Produce an English Newsletter for 2002.
