OPERATION:  PHILANTHROPIST

Step 2:  Writing a Memorandum
The next step is to write a memo to the Board (class and teacher), notifying them of your group's intention to review the charity of your choice, and to develop a proposal for a class fundraiser for that organization.  Tell the Board that you will present that proposal at a later date.

There are a number of links provided to sites that will show you how to write a memo.  You can also refer to the section in your textbook on writing memorandums.

Hold a brainstorming session as a group to decide what to include in your memo (what information is important).  Have one group member draft the memo, then preview it, edit it, and polish it as a group before submitting a final copy to your teacher.
