VMAIL SENT BY FRANK FROM THE ALEUTIANS

VMAIL was a microfilm method used by the military as a way to save valuable shipping space rather than sending paper documents.  The microfilm was later printed on paper and delivered.  All mail was censored.  This is a note to Frank's brother  to let him know some luggage he wanted had arrived.

The term "CB" comes from Navy Construction Battalion. The logo depicts a   "Navy Sea Bee" as a combat ready skilled construction sailor.
