Edson Earl ROHR went by his middle name, Earl. I am not sure why his obituary indicates "There are no immediate survivors". He lived (see Toledo City Directories) with his sister, Dorothy, until 1955 on Carlton Avenue, then moved to Airline Avenue until 1957 and then moved to the VA Hospital in Dayton, OH where he spent his remaining years. It appears that his immediate family and cousins just "forgot about him".
There is some evidence (obtained verbally from other ROHR Family members) that he may have been married more than once to other wives by the names of Ruth E. ?? and Frances ??.

Edson E. Rohr, 82, formerly of Carlton Street, died Tuesday in the Veteran's Administration Hospital, Dayton, O., where he had lived more than 25 years. He had been a radio repairman, and was a World War II army air corps veteran. There are no immediate survivors. Graveside services will be at 11 a.m. tomorrow in Toledo Memorial Park.

An informal memorial service will be held at 2 p.m. Sunday, August 13, 2000, at the home of her son, Tom Replogle, at 638 Whitaker Road in Dothan, AL. Reverend Orrin Barrett will officiate. Mrs. Replogle was born May 6, 1924 in Toledo, Ohio. She graduated from Libbey High School in Toledo, where she took an active roll in the school's radio program and worked during World War II as a switchboard operator. She had resided in the Malvern area for the past 13 years. Survivors include her husband of 52 years, Fred Replogle of Malvern; her sons, Rick Replogle, Starke, FL, Richard Replogle, Maricopa, AZ, Tom Replogle and his wife, Kathy, Dothan, and Bill Replogle of Bloomington, IL; seven grandchildren, and one great grandchild.
