Ira Spear's Sudden Death - Was Prominent For Years in Toledo's Business Circles. A private telegram announces the death of Ira Spear, which occured in Chicago last night. Relatives are now enroute with the reamins which are expected to arrive in Toledo today. Mr. Spear has only resided in Chicago for about a year, going there after a residence in Toledo extending through nearly 40 years. Mr. Spear was at one time quite prominent in business circles. He was at one time a member of the printing house of Spear, Johnson & Co. At Chicago, he was connected with the national Cash Register Co. Although he had reached the age of 70, Mr. Spear was quite active and his death was quite sudden. Besides his wife, who was with him in Chicago, his daughter, Mrs. Rollo Scribner, of Toledo, survives him to mourn his death.
