40 | Comments | Engine was originally
built in 1977-78 as a 1835 and engle 110 in my old '65 cal look sunroof car with Kadrons and in 1983 the Dells were added after 60 thousand hard miles the engine was getting tired and sat for a while as other projects came to the fore...in 1994 the engine was refreshed with a 120 and 90.5 barrels and the 38 vents from the 1835 days were replaced with 34's And saw street duty in my Meyers Manx til i traded for the '66 sedan .At that point it was slapped in the '66 and sent to the track The MSD chip has been at 7600 and the engine will spin that high but makes best ET w/ the dells at 6400-6600 Shift points The car is gutted and weighs 1680 with me aboard and still is not fully sorted there is most likely a 13.6 or seven in ther car judging from the fact that i have not played with tire pressures and i chased a low battery /total loss MSD glitch for 2 seasons talk about frustation!.....Oh well a 2165 is soon to replace the 1776 ..just can't leave well enough alone ... did i mention it will be turboed???): |
