I was 5 years old when I first came in touch with art. My mom sent me to Boon Lay Art Centre (BLAC) and took up art lesson. So I took up drawing with pencil & crayon cos that was how all children's art started. That was also how my love for drawing, pencil and arts & craft started.
During 6 years of primary school, I'd never gotten anything lower than A- before which was something I'm rather proud of. I had also joined the Art Club and learnt lots more things which I didn't get to do during school's art lesson. What I'd learnt outside school at BLAC really helped a lot. I was involved with some of the school's mural painting and some of my art works would be hung in school. But that was all primary school.
Since I joined Art Club in primary school, naturally I joined it in secondary school as well. And then I became the Chairperson for 2 years when I was upper secondary. It was really fun trying to run an Art Club and getting them to work on several projects. Same thing, the school's mural paintings were done by us.
After secondary school, I still continued with BLAC lessons until my poly work load was too much for me to handle that I had to quit. But I never stopped drawing & painting... Do check out my PORTFOLIOS below. They were drawn during the 10 years at BLAC (From 1992 to 2002).
