| Bonzo Madrid is one of Ender's enemies while in Battle School. A Spanish boy in command of Salamander Army, Bonzo at first refuses to let Ender train with his army. When Ender leaves Salamander, Bonzo continues to torment him, and the two finally have a showdown in the bathroom. In one of the pivotal moments of the book, Ender kills Bonzo in a fight and is overcome with grief (even though he does not know for sure that Bonzo is dead). This marks Ender's second "murder" of the novel. | ||||||||
