Endangered - Himalayas - Bhutan and India The Golden Langur is known for its rich golden to bright creamish hair, a black face and a very long tail measuring up to 50 cm in length. | Sloth
Endangered - South America The sloth is usually about 20 to 27 inches in length, and it is about ten to 20 pounds in weight. The sloth has a yellow band around its eyes and a black cap on its head. Sloth's have algae growing on its fur, which helps it to be camouflaged in the treetops. Major threats: rapid declination of the rain forests for farming and cattle raising. |
