We Need Each Other

I feel so lost and alone. Hiding

in my world of unleashed fear.

Why do people run from me,

or throw sticks and stones upon

me ?

I am a creature of the night, for

daylight frightens me.

I try to understand you, but no

matter how I try, it is useless for

me.

I am beauty, I am one of God's

creations.

Do not fear me or my family.

For we all do the best we can

and try to survive.

Just like you.

Learn to accept me, for I have

been here longer than you as

well as my ansectory.

You come to our home and

destroy it with fire, and trash

upon the land.

Did you forget, you as well as I,

are only guest upon this land

we call home ?

I am only me, as you are only

you. So fear me not and try

to let me live in peace.
