Prisoner No More

You came out of no where on my

screen.

You typed words I longed to hear.

Two hearts feeling the same

things.

Both afraid to move forward out

of fear.

Being hurt before kept us prisoners,

locked in our own little worlds.

Now the door opens and we feel

the need to explore.

Two hearts alone, in separate towns.

Joining as one in thoughts on a

screen.

Sharing feelings and pain from the past.

Now a new fear comes from within.

Are we ready to journey, to take

a new step.

Or stay prisoners of our past.

Lets start anew beginning as friends.

Let it evolve if it is meant to be.

No more running, no more

hiding inside.

Lets flourish and grow as the Lord

wanted us to.

For he has joined us together in his

own special way.

Now its up to us, to continue on.

One day at a time.

No more running from within, as we

both seek the same thing.

Can it be the start of something

beautiful, something

wonderful.

You came out of no where, typing

words I need to hear.

I listened and smiled, as the words

reflected what you needed to hear.

A prisoner no more, no more running

from within.

Join me on this new ride, a new

day has begun.

For just you and me.
