Lonesome

Yesterday you left my side,

to stand on a far away land.

So many miles in between us.

So many tears, my cup runeth

over.

Misery has come to me, since

you went away.

Home is where you belong, back

here in my loving arms.

I close my eyes and picture you,

holding me close.

Placing your lips upon mine,

and stars float over head.

How I wish you were home again,

I long to feel you near.

So I walk endlessly, finding new

lands unfamiliar to me.

Traveling up trails, searching for

you.

My time alone in solitude, becoming

one with Gods land, hoping someday

soon we'll be walking hand in hand.

For now it is me and mother nature.

Learning the land and feeling its

beauty surrounding me.

Until the time we can be together

and share the beauty of our love

in this special place.

I will wait looking out over the

horizon, feelings of hope come to me.

As I know someday you and I will be.
