Could You Please
When all of the people of this land meet with the Sandman. All their wishes from the day, come to me I hold their dreams and wishes upon my hand. I show the universe what they all desire. Filling dreams with good things. Making wishes come true. Some take a little more time, to comply with. Here am I, sitting high above your world. Looking over you, caressing you with my love. When your alone, and tears begin to trickle. Feel me touching you, trying to reach you, to take all your blueness away. I am known as the Dream Keeper, known as the Wish Maker. But here in my universe, I am only me. I try to keep everyone happy. Sometimes I shed my tears, as so many run from love and create wars out of silly greed. I wonder if I will ever get my wish granted to me. No more wars, no more hatred filling this land. No more racist, no more hunger and pain. Peace will finally reign, no more man against man, love will fill the land. So you see my friend, your not alone in your wishes and dreams. But I am only me, and can only do, to appease. If you hear my cry, sometime in the night. Can you make my wish for me, could you please.
