Weep No More

He came into our life one day, posing as a beggar.

For all the world to see.

He was scorned at and battered, and called meanful names.

He was called a bum and shunned at, when he

asked for a helping hand.

His tears and pain were silent, for His disappointment

grew. As His children turned their backs on him, and cast

stones about his way.

All seemed to forget His words of when He would return.

What did they expect, for He would give a simple test of

their Christainity.

All he asked for was simple faith, and love for your fellow

man. But somehow this love has died, and selfishness and

greed and thieving reigns.

No wonder, Jesus weeps. I will not let him down, for my love

is very real, and I will help all that I can, for a little bread

goes a mighty distance.

Weep no more my Lord.
