We shared so many things together. We laughed,
We cried. You were always there when a shoulder was
needed.
Always a smile to brighten the darkest of days. A kind
word to cheer my days and lighten my nights. A warm
touch to fill my cold heart.
You picked me up, when I thought the world was falling
apart. Always a wise word, when my minds thoughts
were all foggy.
When the tables were switched, I was there for you, to
do the same. You were my friend, my loved one, my
family.
The angels came one lonely night, and took you home
where you belonged. In a world of peace and love and
dreams full filled.
I know it has been awhile, but to me, only yesterday.
I sit here now, alone in my world even though others
are near. for it is not the same without you here.
For even though your beauty escapes my eyes, I will
always hold your memory close in my heart.
I will never stop saying as I have for years.
